I'm now 47 pages (double-spaced, times new-roman font 12) and 11, 507 words on the positive (or DONE) side of editing-- though it should be noted, editing doesn't ever seem to be done-- but for the intents & purposes of my NaNoWriMo time, they are.

I figured out today what my pace should be, ideally, I'll have a hefty 90K word novel at the end of this-- and over the course of the next 21 days (today included) I should be logging about 3,847 edited words a day. :cough, sputter, gag, kerplunk: I'm not quite there yet. Although, it gives me a better goal to aim for since I'm logging ridiculously large numbers this early in the game.

So.. presenting... another revised goal list for NaNo:

Total Word Count Target: 90,000 edited words

Total Word Count as of today: 11,507

Approximately 12.7% of the goal

NaNoWriMo suggested target (if I were playing by the rules): 50,000

And again- the 11,507, so 23% of the goal

Revised Daily Word Count Target (since I didn't meet the goal today): 3,925/day

(this is with an allowance of 5 days non-NaNo-ing because my mom will be in town-- so a little wiggle room)

It's clear now how I procrastinate during NaNoWriMo. (hint: numbers/bad math)
