I did it! May goals met... sort of

if you knew my kids, this picture would make total sense
Quick goal check & new June/July goals.

At the start of May, I hoped to:
1. Raise edited words count on BMH by 5K!
2. 1 Blog Post a week.
3. 1 FaithWriter’s Challenge entry, as a fun writing activity
4. Get Critique Submissions done in 72hrs

And I have...:
1. raised the edited words count by 6,943 words! woo-hoo! (most happened in the start of June, but I'm counting it)
2. I blogged 2x but the middle of the month was filled with a lot of worry for a friend and much praying- so... it's good enough.
3. I didn't get the May FW challenge in, but did submit one last week which I'm counting towards it.
4. And... I don't think I got all the crits turned in, in under 72 hrs but most were- and that's a big deal.

So YAY for a thoroughly successful May/June turnover. Hey, they're my goals, so I get to say if I was successful or not :)

Now, for the remainder of June/all of July (because we've got lots of family and friends coming and going in the next few weeks, and I need to be realistic about my available time to achieve goals):

1. Raise edited word count by another 30K. That's a hefty goal, but I'm aiming high.
2. 2 Blog Posts for June/July (revising the Fun Fridays to say- no more of those until after my WIP is finished with this round of edits)
3. 1 extra-curricular fun writing project, whether that's for a contest or the FaithWriter's Challenge, or whatever.

That's the update. See you (for updates) in August when I'll be nearing my deadline for this round of edits and will also be greatly anticipating the FaithWriter's Conference and getting to see my friends.
