At 11:15pm I'm up 811 words, and a chapter 2 ready (almost, a few more tweaks before I hand it to them) for my crit group. NaNo is off to a slow start for me thanks to a sick husband who is both jet-lagged and otherwise not as helpful as he can be. I also had a supper boo-boo-- I thought I was making something that would be quick but it ended up costing me in clean-up and side-dish time-- tomorrow I'll be smarter.
It's only day 1. There is time to catch up.
Novel Word Count Start: 51, 764 (I know, ouch. only about 55% of a book. I'll get there. Don't worry)
Today's End tally: 52,575 (that's +811)
Hope my NaNo friends are doing better- I know NaNo's site was down for a while. I hope everyone is getting to log in now.
