I had to take some Claritan-D (generic, too cheap to spring for the name brand) because of allergies. I've been forced into life with open windows & screen doors because my husband is installing a geo-thermal unit, so until he's got it all working- we're without air or heat (which is okay in May). I'm always caught in a rough place with the doors/windows open thing. My allergies (firmly in place since I was 5 years old that I can remember) go beserk when the pollen is blowing through my house- add in the fans stirring up whatever dust I've neglected removing over the last who knows how long- and I'm a sneezing freak. It makes my kids laugh, but it gives me a mild form of whiplash, a sore throat, and mention of an unmentionable situation (women who have given birth probably know). So- allergy meds are my only option.
Unfortunately- these meds have a real knack for sapping me both of actual physical energy and creative energy. I can't form a creative turn of phrase for anything today. Heck, it was a Saturday and I cleaned all day long- not because I enjoy it but it was the only thing I could do in zombie mode.
As I said, it zaps creativity so I am going before this gets too boring. Besides, the girls are screaming now that Daddy has decided 10:45pm is a good time to drill & saw into the pipes again.
