I realized a few seconds ago, that it's actually more encouraging now to count DOWN instead of UP. I've got less than 25% to go, so now, it's a count down!
I'm at 37,782 which is lovely, more to do tonight yet-- but I've only got 12,218 words left to write in order to make it to my 50K goal... and frankly after writing over 37K, a little over 12K to chip away at seems like nothing.
Writing-ward ho!
update after I'm done tonight... every word down counts!! (I haven't even resorted to writing out all my numbers or not writing contractions-- go me :) pats on back)
