Exhaustion wins tonight

Most nights I've been able to power through and keep going until 1 or 2 am but I am falling asleep while I work here. I do remember that happening last year, too. :)

I am trying to find the grace to accept that this November has a mind of its own and is simply refusing to cooperate. My son was home sick today, which translated into many trips up and down our stairs. He's feeling better, but I'm wiped out.

I feel like either I'm not blocking things out as well as I was last year, or I really am being distracted by more this year (legitimate distractions- things generally pertaining to the other major call on my life- motherhood). I can't say for certain which it is, because I'm a bit biased.

I am making progress though (albeit not quantifiable). I managed to zip through 2 chapters for timeline fixes/current event fixes tonight. Sadly, they didn't add diddly squat to the word count. C'est ma vie.
