I just sent my first chapter off for the slush pile series (The Writing Show). I'm curious to see how it comes across. I'd be more nervous but I've listened to the slush pile from the beginning and Paula and Ann give such great feedback (they don't gush over things they don't like, but they let you know what's working, and more importantly- what's not working, in very kind ways).
Chapter two is nearly ready to make the friend-rounds.
Maybe I'll make some headway here yet.
