okay, so after a day of writing for over 8 hrs my brain was a little fried and I didn't make it much past 15k. it's still on target if I had a full 30 days, but..... I don't have 30 days. I'll keep plodding & plotting (ha, ha!) and I'll keep you posted.
tonight's major distraction was my timeline-- my MC (main character) was pregnant for waaaaaay too long- big no, no. So.. I fixed it- scribbled in what dates go where- made some notes where I'll have to revise later on and such and so forth- and oh my gosh it's nearly midnight (again!) and I have to be up to teach Sunday School & we have guests coming for lunch tomorrow. So. I must go to sleep.
at close of my day, 15,134 (but on my Word program it says 15143, not sure what's different). that's 30%!
My single day word count for my mega marathon of writing??? 7,272!! whew. (it blows me away that the most I'd ever written in a day before was about 800 words, gol-ly!)
