30K!

Even though I'm exhausted, I'm stoked that my remainder to 50K is now less than 20K. Though my word count thing isn't working right tonight, nanowrimo officially has me at 30,383.

It's so fun to be on this adventure-- I feel like my main character is an old friend and I feel like I've got an imaginary friend again because I feel myself wanting to talk about her when I'm talking to other people and then I remember I made her up. Helps me empathize with my son, he's hitting the peak of the pretend years.

I am on one hand anxious to see how this turns out but on the other, I'm not sure I'm ready to start thinking about goodbye yet.

well.. off to attend to other real life duties (I should never have agreed to teach Sunday School this quarter!).
